Supply Chain Management Pt1 - SCM Introduction
Course Code SCM1
Description: An informal trainer led workshop which will provide delegates with an Introduction to Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Aim: This module will provide a basic introduction to the Maritime Inventory Management task and where it fits within DE&S.
Duration: 0.5 days non-residential, either at the customers site or workplace.
Pre-Requisites: None.

Please note: This course cannot be booked via HRMS. Please send a completed application form to Admiral House Bristol.

Designed For: A Mandatory course for Band E staff NEW to Maritime Inventory Management within 4 weeks of joining post. Grade E1 & D Maritime Inventory Managers.
Cost for Non MoD Applicants: The cost of this course is £275.00 excluding VAT. Details of payment options will be sent in a confirmation e-mail when you apply for the course.
Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will have a general understanding of:

• The role and tasks of the Maritime Inventory Manager;
• Where to find information, guidance and assistance;
• Where to gain basic knowledge of Maritime Supply Systems, Enquiries and extracting information;
• Where to obtain information on future Training;
• Where Policy and Instructions can be found.
