Repair Procedures
Course Code REP
Description: An interactive course, for supply managers, covering all aspects of managing repairable items, from introduction to service, to using Expert Provisioner to manage ongoing requirements.
Aim: To give delegates an understanding of the repair procedures used in accordance with JSP886 Vol 13 leaflet MG9/1.
Duration: 3 days non-residential.
Pre-Requisites: Catalogue Management (CATMAN), Demand Satisfaction & Stock Replenishment (DEMSAT), Reprovisioning (REPROV), Methods Of Procurement Within Supply (MOPS), Asset Reduction & Consolidation Exercises For All (ARCON).
Designed For: Supply staff who manage repairable components.

Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Outline the introduction of repairables into service;
• State the reasons for repair;
• Outline demand processing and repairable dues-in;
• Detail Calculations of new build requirements;
• Explain the R003 and its use;
• Discuss the various Repair options available;
• Demonstrate use of EP3 repair;
• Detail the required clauses to be included on the repair requisitions;
• Explain Repair Contract Record Creation;
• Detail the difference in contract creation for repair conversion/ modification;
• Define the various repair parameters BC 1.3 including:
            • Repair Turn Round Time (RTRT);
            • Repair Period (RP).
