| Description: |
Although programme management has its roots in project management, the two
disciplines are markedly different and good project managers do not necessarily
make good programme managers.
This course will develop both programme and project management competence in an
environment which brings together both Ministry of Defence and public sector
supplier personnel in a unique ‘customer and supplier’ environment.
Specifically, students gain the capabilities needed for the implementation of
strategic change through project management or programme leadership in a defence
industry or public sector context.
We provide students with an on-line learning portal, through which they can
access a wide range of facilities. This portal will provide access to course
material and other services including: access to the library with its series of
on-line databases; course administration, news and timetables; document
templates to help students set out work they have to submit and a communication
and information facility. |
