Practitioner Of Reliability and Maintainability

Description: A Course designed to provide a greater depth of knowledge and skill to those involved with the management of R&M.
Aim: To help equip IPT MOD staff and Contractors with the knowledge & skills required to manage R&M through the acquisition cycle.
Duration: 2.5 days non-residential
Pre-Requisites: Awareness of Reliability & Maintainability (ARM); Reliability & Maintainability on-line training (V327); awareness of the content of Def Stans 00-40 parts 1, 00-42 part 3, 00-44, 00-49; ARMP 4.

Objectives: By the end of the course delegates will have practitioner level knowledge & skills:

• Required to enable informed decisions to be made within MOD involving R&M;
• That ensure projects satisfy customer’s R&M requirements throughout acquisition;
• Required to persuade the acquisition community to give R&M due consideration throughout CADMID
