  Training Centre Locations

DACMT-Acquisition offers a wide range of courses covering the key functional areas of Programme & Project Management, Commercial Practices, Supply Chain Management (Air), Logistics, Category Management, System Safety, Lean Management, Requirements Management and Quality Management, along with other subject areas.

We have training centres located in Andover, Bath, Bristol and Wyton. The Bristol training centre (Admiral House), is a purpose built training centre located on the outskirts of Bristol close to DE&S Abbey Wood. Training is delivered at each of the satellite centres and also increasingly at customer locations where demand exists.

Our training is focussed on meeting the customer's requirements and tailored to meet the business needs of the acquisition community in Defence.

We provide training covering the full capability lifecycle from requirements generation through procurement and in-service support to disposal based on the through life approach. We incorporate the latest in communication and delivery techniques enabling delegates to achieve their full potential.

The majority of our courses are open to non-MOD personnel on a fee-paying basis. Non-MOD delegates may attend one of our scheduled courses which brings the added benefit to all of gaining greater understanding of the cultures and processes of differing organisations. If there are a number of delegates from one organisation it may be more cost effective if we run an in-house course for you at a venue of your choice.

Along with the scheduled courses, we are able to offer tailored training solutions which address the specific business needs of our customers. This ranges from modifying existing courses or mixing a range of topics from different courses, to carrying out a full training needs analysis, designing and delivering a new programme of learning (including e-learning) specific to the organisations needs. 

A number of our courses are formally accredited by recognised bodies. The System Safety suite of courses have received official recognition from The University of York, and the Commercial Awareness and Practitioner Programme is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply as equivalent to their National Qualifications Ladder Level 3 qualification. In addition, we continue to offer the established Association for Project Management (APMP and AMPPQ) qualifications.
